- How do I send my photo to you?
You can either send your photo to us by post and we will then scan them to create a digital image, or you can scan them yourself.
- Is there any risk of damage to the original photo?
The original print will be completely unchanged as long as sufficient care is taken with posting, or if scanning your photo yourself, you ensure that the scanner surface is completely clean. We will return all original prints in protective packaging and by recorded delivery.
- How soon will I receive my restored photos?
Please allow 21 days for completion of orders, although they will often be returned much sooner. If you have a deadline (e.g. Birthday or Christmas gifts) please tell us in your instructions and we will do our best.
- Will the restored photo be in digital or print form?
This is entirely up to you. Once you are happy with the restoration, a digital copy will be sent to you by e-mail, or if you have sent us several photos for restoration, we can return them to you on a CD or memory stick. This allows you to make as many copies as you wish, and decide on size of prints. However if you prefer, we are happy to print your restored photo for you on photo quality paper.
- What if I am unhappy with the results of photo restoration?
At PhotoFinish-uk we don’t ask for payment until you are completely satisfied with the restoration. We will send you a watermarked copy of the photo by e-mail. If there is anything you are unhappy about, please let us know and we will do our best to make the necessary alterations. If you are still unhappy, you simply don’t pay.
- How much will photo restoration cost?
It is difficult to be precise as all photos are different. The pricing page gives costs for different categories of restoration, as well as the cost of any prints, CD or memory stick. Along with your watermarked copy of the restoration we will send an invoice which will only be payable when you are completely happy with the work we have carried out.
